Dear artist, what dream is moving through you?
As part of her European live tour 17:17, musician and artist BEA1991 brings a series of location-based Artist Workshops into the creative shadow. The workshop focuses on what is luminous, not what is lacking. Within what is luminous we find our shadows, within those shadows our anxious assumptions, and within them, a release.
Bea weaves together Jungian dream analysis, the language of geology and modern interpretations of Animism, Pantheism and Immanence with her instinctive practice as an autodidact musician, designer and artist counsellor.
The workshop
Over three hours, you’re invited into introspective landscapes of Creative Individuation. Through group and solo exercises, you peel back the Artist Ego, explore hidden judgements around your own creativity, and bring into focus what wants to emerge, while protecting what wants to remain mysterious.
Activities include humming, drawing, active imagination, dream analysis, subconscious fairy tales and their heat maps, creative social alchemy, gentle somatics, mirroring and responding.
For who
Artists and creatives of all disciplines, aged 21 and over.

An open mind, artistic curiosity and an interest in personal growth.
Good to know
Includes a 30-minute break.
About BEA1991
Bea is a musician, designer and artist counsellor. She has creatively counselled brands and artists such as Andrew Callaghan (Channel 5), design teams at Potato Head Bali and ECCO Leather, and musicians of the London Contemporary Orchestra. She has also worked with the Sandberg Instituut, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Goldsmiths University and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
