New Order of Fashion LAB Studio
The Studio at NOOF LAB is a space for experimentation with sustainable textile-making. Equipped with embroidery and knitting machines, tufting tools, digital spinning and dyeing facilities, it invites designers to explore material futures hands-on.
By reservation, visitors can access machines or join guided introductions, turning the lab into a site of shared learning and innovation. Beyond the active tools, the Studio also holds looms, shredders and screen-printing equipment. These resources extend the field of what fashion can become.
The Studio is therefore a commons: a workplace where knowledge, tools and imagination are shared to create new practices of making together.

Guidance
Although all Studio machines are very accessible and come with NOOF video tutorials, they require some level of practice / experience. Informal guidance is available during opening hours.
For specialised Studio machine guidance, sign up for an introduction to the machine on our event page.
Materials
For informal tips on materials to use in your work and craft techniques, visit Monday-Thursday to meet with Pollyanna Moss who can help you with further information and references.
We do not have regular stock of fabrics or sewing notions available in the lab, you need to bring these yourself. We have small amounts of fabric for testing and repairs.
In Eindhoven we recommend:
Inge Naaimachines - threads, backings, second hand sewing machines
Smitje - fabrics, notions
Harri Bosch Modestof (high end fabrics)
Tuesday market at 18 Septemberplein (cheaper fabrics for sampling, untraceable!)
Online we recommend:
Ecological Textiles (traceable bio fabrics)
