Flock, Folk, Field
New Order of Fashion (NOOF) is an international platform for exceptional fashion and textile talent by presenting fresh and radical perspectives through innovation, experimentation and co-creation. Our goal is to fuel the industry’s transition toward fully circular and regenerative practices. In times of radical environmental, social, economic and cultural change, a collaborative approach is essential. Through exhibitions, activations, research and residencies, we strive to enrich the discourse around sustainable approaches and to support those exemplary practitioners that are at the forefront of the sustainability revolution.
Each year during Dutch Design Week we showcase inspiring projects and initiatives to 10,000+ visitors. For the 2026 Dutch Design Week (17-25 October) NOOF invites organisations, initiatives, creatives and companies to submit their projects that explore fashion and textiles within these three perspectives:
Flock - sheep, animals, human-animal relationships
What stories remain unheard? This perspective is about the human and animal relationships and the story of the animal behind the material.
Folk - craftmanship, reinventing and reinterpretation of historical practices, community
What stories are preserved through making? This perspective is about craft, communities, and commonality.
Field - earth care, connection to nature, agriculture, resources, more-than human, shepherds, farmers
What stories are rooted in the landscape? This perspective is about resources, land and planet.
Selected projects will:
cover a fee of €200 - €1000 for participation and set up costs
be expected to be present in Eindhoven during the exhibition.
be responsible for transport their work to Eindhoven between 1st-7th and arranging collection or return transport on 25th-26th.
