When did you start knitting?

What's your craft origin story?

I just really like learning things. I have always dabbled in creating. Crochet and knitting was one of those hobbies that stuck around for more than a single project.

Did you try out a new technique while making your project? And would you use it again?

This is my first knitting wearable. I made my own pattern for it. And yes! Would definitely be making more vest patterns.

How many hours did it take you to compete?

40 - give or take

What did you discover from  using regional wool in your project?

The fine wool is really good with detailing. Wish I had the skills to work on lacework with it.

What were the trial and error of the project?

Since I made the pattern to fit me. A lot of math, definitely took a while to get it right

What does knitting do for you personally?

It helps with my anxiety. To keep myself focused when I watch something and the finished project is the reward in the end

Do you have any tips for people who want to work with wool in their own projects? And why would you recommend it?

Creating something by hand helps you understand time. We are surrounded by instant gratification, knitting and crochet helps you put things in perspective. How much work goes into creating.
