NOOF happily invites you to the opening of our upcoming exhibition, showing new knitwear work of Juha Vehmaanperä, Fluid in Squares.
Join for an exciting afternoon where we host the first talent talk and workshop of the year!
Juha Vehmaanperä starting point for this collection was inspired by swimming halls and gym shower stall architecture that enforces idea behind binary thinking of gender. It mixes built elements such as tiles and the fluid nature of the water representing the restrictions of built spaces and free flow of water and the nature. Fluid in Squares is an individual project funded by Arts Promotion Center Finland, and will be shown in Finland at Oulu Art Museum in May.
