Spin Anything is a hackathon-style workshop where participants are challenged to turn anything into a spindle.
We start by hacking together spindles from everyday scraps and trying them out. The focus is on experimentation, improvisation and playful invention, celebrating every attempt wonky and/or wonderful.
We encourage you bring along your own scraps, but we’ll also provide plenty of materials too. We’ll be spinning with local native sheep wool. This workshop is open to all (and spinners of course), just bring curiosity and a willingness to spin with anything!
