Workshop: Broken Community Garment

  • New Order of Fashion Torenallee 22 (map)

The Broken Community Garment is a collective repair workshop led by New Order of Fashions Repair Crew and De Naaierij. Together we will mend broken and forgotten woollen garments. You’re welcome to bring your own woollen item to repair, or choose a pre-loved piece from our garment rack. Our expert menders will guide the process and demonstrate techniques such as swiss darning, scottish darning, appliqué and needle felting. As you learn, you’ll also pass on skills to others in this collaborative experience. This workshop is not only about repairing clothes, it’s about repairing together, sharing knowledge, and creating stories in the process.

Come kick off our exhibition at New Order of Fashion!
We can’t wait to welcome you.
